The Kentucky Derby is just around the corner, and we’re tipping our hats to Ireland—home to some of the world’s finest thoroughbreds and top trainers. This week only, we’re celebrating with a special twist on a Derby classic: the Irish Mint Julep. Choose between The Busker, a triple casked Irish whiskey with layers of bourbon, marsala, and sherry influence, or Keeper’s Heart, a blend of Irish and bourbon whiskey that brings sweet, oaky richness and a hint of butterscotch.

Looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday night? Join us for Quizmaster Pub Trivia on Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 PM at Madden’s Irish Pub in Elroy, WI. It’s the perfect midweek escape with good drinks, good friends, and a little friendly competition.
Trivia happens every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, and it's always free to play for customers.
Here’s what to expect:
Six rounds of trivia, including two wager categories, a picture round, and a fast-paced lightning round
Teams of up to 8 players
Prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, and Best Team Name

Wisconsin's own Dublin O'Shea has been together for over 20 years. Dedicated to preserving Celtic folk music, primarily pub songs from Ireland, they feature a traditional lineup of guitar, mandolin, fiddle and percussion. With stirring vocals and furious strumming, Dublin O'Shea is a good choice for a fun night out with dancing, laughing, and sing-alongs. Their repertoire of upbeat pub music includes songs of lost loves, sunken ships, general mayhem, and straight-up goofiness.

From lively bluegrass & country to heartfelt sea shanties (yes, they even tackle those!), they amplify the spirit of old-time songs with a fusion of blues, funk, and jazz.
Armed with ukulele, bass ukulele, fiddle, percussion, and a treasure chest of harmonies, their performances promise an exhilarating musical odyssey. Brace yourself for an up-tempo, harmony-infused journey that'll linger in your memory long after the final chord fades away.
Madden's Anniversary Celebration w/ The Tooles

The Tooles have created their own fiery brand of Irish pub music. Combining traditional tunes with powerful originals and a few favorite pub songs, Amy, Peter, and Kurt bring together influences from Dublin to Nashville, with a bit of Midwestern grit thrown in. The Tooles are a three-piece band based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Amy on fiddle. Peter on bass. Kurt thumping on bodhran and guitar—but not at the same time and everybody sings. Loudly.
Kurt brings rhythm guitar, bodhran, and a powerful voice to The Tooles. Years of creative song writing give the band a broad library of originals to draw from. Kurt's expressive, funny, tragic, and always entertaining music and lyrics make every song feel like a "closer".
Amy brings her amazing fiddle chops and sweet voice to the Tooles. In addition to her strong lead work, she has written many original toe-tapping and head-turning fiddle tunes. She never lets us forget that "every song is a love song!"
Peter's talent at bass guitar, double bass, and more brings a solid bottom-end to the Tooles sound. Whether dropping the beat on some tunes, whipping up a frenzied finale, or mellowing out to a waltz, Peter's muse is the "bass" they build on.

This Paddygrass show will move you to sing, dance, drink and forget all else. At Madden's Irish Pub in Elroy, WI Saturday, November 8 from 6-9pm, the band will seamlessly weave together kickass Irish, Celtic, bluegrass, and gospel music and shanties. Playing multiple instruments and singing in four-part harmony, it's hard to know where one style ends and another begins.
